With floods of Chinese nationals spreading their wings Spain is adapting to these very wealthy tourists coming to Spain.
Madrid’s Airport based in the Spanish Capital has commenced working on a way to better accommodate the ever increasing wealthy Chinese tourists.
China is now the biggest source of tourists in the world, with around 130 million Chinese citizens traveling abroad every year and Spain is becoming a very popular destination.
Madrids airport which is the main airport in Spain receiving Chinese tourists will work with the consultancy firm Henkuai and ensure its services and facilities as welcoming as possible to Chinese tourists.
The Chinese tourists coming to Spain’s capital are very wealthy big spending travellers and the airport wishes to capture as much disposable income as possible.
One of the main targets is to ensure that the Chinese traveller to Spain can instantly find and purchase luxury brands as the Chinese nationals adore European brands, food changes are also on the agenda to ensure that the Spanish airport can provide a diet to Chinese tastes.
Spain’s national airport after France receives the highest number of tourists in the world with 82.8 million in 2018 and looks to take over from France with these latest changes.
The Euro Weekly News spoke to Chinese businessman Chris Fang as he entered Spain via the airport he said ” I’m really please that Spain is adapting the airport to suit us Chinese nationals – I love coming to Spain on business and it’s great to feel so welcome”
