The Nutcracker returns to Estepona Costa del Sol

The Nutcracker is the must see Christmas ballet Credit: Ballet de Moscu

CHRISTMAS in Estepona would not be Christmas without a performance of the famous ballet The Nutcracker with music by Tchaikovsky.

This year it’s the turn of the Moscow Ballet to tell the story of the Nutcracker and the Mouse King and is perhaps the best known of his ballets thanks to The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and The Waltz of the Flowers.

In the show, directed by Timur Fayziev, world-class soloists Elena Antsupova and Aleksandr Petrichencko are accompanied by a first-rate dance corps composed of dancers from the best Russian schools.

There will be just one performance of the ballet that is ideal for adults and children alike at the Felipe VI Auditorium on Saturday December 28 and past experience has shown that this ballet invariably sells out regardless of the company presenting it.

Tickets cost €28 plus booking fee from www.tafestepona.com.
