COSTA BLANCA NEWS – CHRISTMAS RAFFLE TO HELP JAVEA SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL

SANTA is already working hard and will soon be on his way to visit the 65 children at Javea’s Raquel Pay school.
The children at this special needs school are very excited and looking forward to Santa’s arrival with wonderful presents inside that bag of his.
“But first we need you to support our effort by buying tickets for our Christmas Raffle,” the Original Charity Shop and Library explained.
The proceeds of the raffle will go a long way towards providing each child with a special present. The charity is also providing Christmas gifts for 90 children in the care of the Red Cross.
A strip of five tickets costs only €3 and are now on sale in the Original Charity Shop on Carrer de Nancy in Javea’s Arenal district and at the Charity Library in Javea Park.
There are more than 60 fabulous prizes to be won, including a very large – 145cm – Toshiba television, a magnificent hamper filled with Christmas goodies, vouchers for restaurants, beauty treatments and hairdressing, wine, chocolate and many more great prizes.
Readers’ generous contributions will ensure that the children are not disappointed.
The draw takes place on Saturday December 21 at noon.
The treasurer of the Original Charity Shop and Library has recently donated cheques or cash totalling €5,700 to the Aspanion, which supports the families of children with cancer, the Autism Association of Javea, the Red Cross, the British Legion and the Javea Feral Cat Association.
