THE body of 67-year-old Dominique Françoise Wanet was found two days after she was reported missing in Albir. The alarm was raised after the Belgian resident left her home in Avenida Oscar Espla with her Shih Tzu dog at 7am on November 20 but failed to return. Firefighters and Guardia Civil were brought in to scour the area, with police finding the woman’s body amongst pine trees on November 23. No information has emerged regarding the causes of death. Police sources said there were no visible signs of violence.
