Buoyant market in resale properties pushes up house prices in Alicante

Share

A BUOYANT market in resale properties in Alicante has pushed house prices up by seven per cent in the province over the last year, according to Development Ministry figures.

Alicante is the 10th most expensive province for property in Spain, although there are marked differences in prices between different areas, especially between the coast and inland.

Alcoy for example is one of the municipalities with more than 25,000 inhabitants with some of the cheapest property prices in Spain, with average prices of no more than €700 per square metre.

The average for the whole province is €1,686 per square metre.
