THE popular TaPalma festival will commence on Wednesday, November 27, luring locals and visitors to restaurants and bars in Palma de Mallorca Spain. Now in its 15th edition, we at Euro Weekly News understand that the event aims to energise the city during the low season and to position Palma as a focal point of Spanish gastronomy. Running until December 1, over 50 restaurants and bars will participate at the event, covering the areas of Santa Catalina and Paseo Marítimo as well as La Lonja, Blanquerna and Mercado de San Juan. Here diners can taste innovative and traditional tapas plates for under €2 as well as delicious blends of cocktails. The annual tapas and cocktail contest will take place on November 25 at the Palau de Congressos de Palma, bringing together the best chefs and bartenders on the island.
