Green way to inland tourism boost in Alicante and Valencia

WORKS are set to go ahead to make improvements to the green way running between Alcoy and Gandia, a move which the Valencian Community government said will boost tourism, leisure and sport in inland areas of Alicante and Valencia provinces.
Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility regional minister Arcadi España said the aim was to work with the local authorities and the provincial administrations to give a new push to the green way.
The trail is a sustainable connection between Alicante and Valencia provinces and two inland localities with the coast, representing major benefits for the tourism sector, the Valencia government maintained.
Arcadi España also highlighted the importance of backing sustainable ways of getting around in daily life.
