Costa Blanca news – CHUMS are good friends to have, says Benidorm charity

Members of CHUMS (Friends of Charity), a small, registered charity based in Benidorm and Albir, helped purchase over €600 of food and essentials last week for those less fortunate.
CHUMS members Rita, Marilyn, Peter and Anna went shopping with La Nucia’s Social Services department.
“We have such wonderful members who make all this possible,” said CHUMS president Marilyn Rogers.
“It is lovely for us as we want to put something back and food banks are special as they help people who are less fortunate than ourselves.”
The charity’s next event is a coffee morning on Wednesday November 27 at Ciudad Patricia in Benidorm from 11am until 1pm.
On Wednesday December 13 there will be a fun quiz at the Why Not Bar in Benidorm at 2pm.
