AS has often been remarked, Gibraltar has remarkably few problem considering the size of the population, the relatively small area in which they live and the number of different religions on the Rock.
Each year, the Mayor of Gibraltar (now John Gonçalves) hosts a meeting at City Hall to celebrate Interfaith Week so that representatives of the various faiths can meet together and discuss matters of interest to them.
The new mayor has suggested that this should become a more regular event and that by this, those of the younger generation would see and learn from the respect that each representative showed for the others.
