FOUNDED in 1937 the Igor Moiseyev Ballet was the brain child of one of the greatest 20th Century choreographers of character dance which is similar to folk but is much more theatrical in style.

The ballet company lives on after the death of the founder in 2007 at the age of 102 and is currently undertaking a short tour of Spain which will see 80 dancers from Russia perform Dances of the World.
