THE focus will be on firmly on the northern region of the province on November 23 and 24 in Fines when the municipality hosts the Almeria Tiene Norte festival.
The event serves above all else as a showcase for the region’s products and services, with a particular emphasis on agricultural produce.
This will be the seventh edition of the two-day festival, which will feature a full programme of activities.
Highlights will include storytelling with a recycling theme, pottery workshops, a Zumba master class, raffles, a free bouncy castle for children and live music.
The festival will also serve as the launch pad for a campaign to raise awareness about correct waste disposal.
The event has the backing of Fines council, the Valle del Almanzora Municipalities Organisation, the provincial government and the Almanzora-Levante-Velez Consortium.
