EVERY November, Sandro Morelli, owner of Villa Tiberio Restaurant in Marbella, holds a Fundraising Gala Evening and this year it was on Sunday November 3, raising more than €15,000 for the Cudeca Hospice in Benalmadena.

Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, where charity raffle tickets were being sold by the Hospice volunteers before they were seated for dinner.

The Host and MC for the night, Nathan Dean welcomed guests and introduced performances by local stars Frank Skott, Zöe Hughes, Steve Haughay (Stelvis Lacosta), Helena Paul, Gillian Coyle and Carm of ZING and Steve Owen.

This was a real team of professional entertainers who were kind enough to donate their time and skills to help raise much needed and appreciated funds.

After the performances and dinner, guests were invited to move into the garden to enjoy a magnificent firework spectacle to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night, courtesy of Sandro Morelli.

There were a number of exceptional gifts donated by various local businesses for both the raffle and the auction and in a speech of thanks on behalf of the Cudeca Hospice, Susan Hannam, Vice President singled out Sandro Morelli saying “Sandro has been helping Cudeca for much more than 20 years, raising more than €150,000 in total and are very proud and honoured to have him with us.”
