IV San Roque Suena Festival

TONIGHT, Thursday November 14, the third of the concerts in the IV San Roque Suena Festival, will take place at the Governors’ Palace at 8pm.

Guest artist will be guitarist Bernardo García Huidobro, who will perform Los musicos en el Camino de Santiago, which pays homage to the pilgrimage across Spain.

The concert will tell how the pilgrims route influenced numerous compositions from the 16th to the 20th Century

On Friday, the Santa Cecilia Chamber Group from Sevilla will perform The Music of All Time, a work for choir and instruments. This program aims to take a brief tour of the history of music through great pieces known to all audiences.

On Saturday, it will be the turn of Spanish Chamber Music performed by the Turina Trio playing piano, violin and cello.

Finally on Sunday, Francisco Espinosa on piano, and Lara Rodríguez Rojo, on clarinet, will offer the last concert of this event with a selection of different well-loved examples of chamber music.

All concerts start at 8pm and entry is free until the hall is filled.
