Quietly confident about Brexit fallout
BREXIT is not expected to affect bookings by British tourists next year.
Following their recent visit to the World Travel Market in London where they met British tour operators and travel agents, Calpe mayor Ana Sala and Tourism councillor Francisco Avargues are confident that reservations will maintain the levels of previous years.
Prospects for 2020 remain good, they said, but the town hall will continue with its promotional activities in the UK, while Jet2Com will soon be bringing 400 British travel agents to Calpe on a promotional visit.
