Hair raising fund raising on Costa del Sol

Announcing a day of pampering in San Pedro Credit: Ayuntamiento de Marbella

THE Boulevard of San Pedro Alcantara will next Sunday, November 17, become a hairdressing salon as it hosts the second Solidarity Court for local charity Aspandem.

A dozen hairdressers, as well as other beauty and aesthetic professionals, will be offering their services to raise funds for the organisation that has one of its buildings just across the road from the Boulevard.

It exists to assist those with disabilities both physical and mental and attracts a large number of local youngsters and their parents.

Starting at 11am, there will be a fashion show, live music, an auction cranial massage, plenty of makeovers and even pets will be catered for with pedicure and dog manicure service.

Many of those who support or are assisted by Aspandem will be taking part as volunteers in the event.
