Charity ball

Charity auction: Help single parents SOURCE: Guardian Angels

Emperor penguins are known to be the perfect parents and they have it tough. The penguin will stand on the ice for weeks, balancing an egg on their feet, with no food, guarding their baby.
Similarly, single parents have it tough, sometimes they don’t have the means to keep their children fed and warm.
Guardian Angels are a Costa Blanca-based secular charity dedicated to helping ease the isolation of single-parent families with an on-call network of support. They would like invite you to don your penguin suit at their black-tie event in aid of their charity.

On November 30 they are holding a fantastic fundraiser in aid of single parents at the luxurious Denia Marriott Resort from 7 p.m. until 2.
With a spectacular line up lead by Master of Ceremonies, record-breaking British athlete and television personality, Kriss Akabusi.
Kris is known for his larger than life personality and infectious laugh. He will share his passion for the charity as well as many other inspirations and experiences that he holds close.

The fun-packed night will also include the Lady Elizabeth School Choir, top European pianist Lola Smololowski, marvellous magician James Brown, a phenomenal Robbie Williams tribute act, the fabulously witty Darrell Clayton as MC and back by popular demand the incredibly charismatic Niamh O´Sheehan who is sure to have you up and dancing with her band Gatecrash.

Luxurious raffle prizes have been carefully selected and so good that you will be wishing you bought more tickets. An auction to win a three night stay in a cosy Cotswolds cottage will have you wishing for an extra hand to raise to place your bid.

Also up for grabs is a VIP day in London which includes museum visits, a boat ride down the Thames, cocktails at the Shard and a meal at the world-famous Planet Hollywood.

Tickets are 60 and not only include all this amazing entertainment but you also get a drink on arrival and a three course meal with wine, beer or a soft drink.
So get your penguin suit on for this black-tie event and join Guardian Angels helping perfect single parents provide for their chicks this winter.
