Children visit the Benalmadena town hall

AS part of the policy of keeping in touch with residents young and old, 80 children from the CEIP La Paloma school were invited to meet Benalmadena Mayor, Victor Navas at the town hall.

The youngsters from the primary school had the chance to sit where the councillors sit and to ask the mayor and Councillor Juan Carrillo, questions about their jobs and the working of the council with many suggesting that sports facilities for children could be improved.

At the same time, they were told about the importance of recycling and care of the environment as well as being encouraged to make the most of their studies.

The mayor said that he always enjoyed meeting with children and explaining the role of the council and how it affected them and their families.
