A SALE and auction of gorgeous items raised very welcome funds for the Animal Protection Society Albox.
Staged at Chapman’s bar and restaurant in Albox, there was plenty of lots of glitz and glamour. The auction had lots ranging from shoes, evening bags and accessories to beautiful dresses and jackets for cruises and the Christmas season.
Viewing was during the afternoon and Chapman’s owner Tonia Gray ran the evening auction. Organiser Sally Miller was delighted with the €300 raised and thanked Val Boscott and all the volunteers who helped to run the event, and especially Tonia and Connor for being such great hosts.
APSA also had a Christmas goodies stall with decorations and gift ideas and held a raffle with items donated by The Sleepcentre and Wendy’s Shiatsu Centre among others.
The charity will have a Christmas stall at the Chapman’s fete on Tuesday November 19.
