VALL Del Pop U3A groups are keen to recruit new members. Experienced and complete novices work side-by-side in a shared love of blooms in the flower arranging group. The group meets on the second Friday of each month at 2pm in the Pensionista Building, Alcalali. Contact Christine Brazier or see Facebook. The Sharing and Caring is aimed at members who do not get ‘out and about’ as much as they’d like or who need to be pointed in the right direction for medical or social needs. There are monthly coffee/tea mornings on the second Friday of each month from 11am to 1pm at Memory Lane in Jalon. The Open Forum group meets every other Monday from 11am to 1pm at Riu Rau restaurant in Jalon. Their debating get-togethers are held in a light hearted atmosphere, even when the topics are decidedly serious.
