Mixed unemployment news in Valencia community

THERE was mixed news on October’s unemployment figures in the Valencian Community.
The jobless rate for the whole region was down by 0.15 per, or 542 people, in relation to September.
This put the total number of people out of work in the autonomous community at 364,314 and represented a 2.09 per cent inter-annual decrease, the Employment and Social Security Ministry figures reveal.
The level of joblessness in Alicante rose by 1.42 per cent last month however. There were 2,609 additional registered unemployed in the province by the beginning of November, putting the total number at 147,276.
