THE Gibunco Gibraltar International Literary Festival has now established itself as a must visit for those who love books of all kinds.

Running from Thursday November 14 until Sunday November 17 at various historic venues around the Rock, more than 40 distinguished authors, mostly from the UK (but with a number of Gibraltarians included) will be talking about their work.

The entire programme can be viewed at http://www.gibraltarliteraryfestival.com but those diverse speakers taking part include former Cabinet Minister and Governor of Hong Kong, Lord Patten, actor Timothy Bentinck who plays David in the Archers, Green Goddess Diana Moran and exceptional chef Jeremy Lee who will be creating the opening dinner at the Caletta Palace.

Sadly, this year, 95-year-old Nicholas Parsons, host of radio show Just a Minute will not be travelling to Gibraltar as he is only just recovering from a fall which meant that he had to have complete rest.
