IN a presentation held today, the PSOE candidate for Velez Malaga, Ignacio López has called for a government that “leaves no one behind”

In the presentation, Lopez has rallied his troops and pushed for a governing body that can “generate growth, progress and wealth” and that can back up the national government of Pedro Sanchez to bring the town into the twenty first century.

Lopez was accompanied by secretary general of the PSOE Malaga, José Luis Ruiz Espejo, the mayor of the municipality, Antonio Moreno, and the secretary of Economic Policy and Employment of the socialist federal executive, Manuel Escudero.

The primary aim of the PSOE electoral manifesto focuses on the economy of Velez Malaga, “to generate growth, progress and wealth that can be distributed through elements such as a minimum inter professional wage of €1,200, fair pensions.” Explained Lopez.

“On November 10 we have two alternatives in Spain: either vote for the PSOE or vote for the blockade,” warned Escudero, who reiterated the PSOE’s goal of pushing the region forwards for the benefit of the people.

As part of their manifesto, the PSOE is putting their efforts into five main areas, working class wages, the gender pay gap, pensions, social services and climate change.
