TORROX Essence, one of the largest urban green spaces on the Costa del Sol, has been unveiled at this weeks World Trade Market in London.

Torrox Mayor Oscar Medina and José Escobar, CEO of Puerto Narixa, travelled to the UK capital to take part in the international tourist fair, and used the opportunity to announce details of the new venture.

The project involves a brand new residential development in the Puerto Narixa area of Torrox.

It promises to include nearly 2000 residential properties as well as over 625,000 square metres of green areas, making it one of the most environmentally friendly urban areas in the region.

“This type of urbanization is in line with what the international tourist is looking for. From the consistory we are working to offer quality tourism and we are sure that this project is an added value,” explained Medina.

Medina has also assured that “these homes located in the Best Climate in Europe will be a smart investment”.

José Escobar, CEO of Puerto Narixa also added that the space will be home to nearly 12 kilometres of walks as well as a health centre, its own orchard and an area of vineyards with it’s own wine press.

Also included will be shopping areas, leisure and sports facilities and spaces for educational and health facilities.
