Something for everyone at Cuevas del Almanzora fiesta

CUEVAS de Almanzora council is promising a fiesta with something for everyone.
Unveiling the details of this year’s San Diego celebrations, Cuevas Mayor Antonio Fernandez Liria and Festivals councillor Isabel Maria Haro explained the programme featured all kinds of events to be staged at the fairground and in the municipal marquee, as well as the mass and procession.
An excellent line-up of live music is one of the standout features of the fiesta. Big names acts include heavy metal band Baron Rojo, who found international fame in the 1980s, well-known folk rock group Celtas Cortos, and Canary Island alternative rock chart-toppers Efecto Pasillo.
All the concerts and shows over the five days of celebrations will be free.
Noteworthy novelties this year will be the two hours without lights and noise on the Day of the Child and a firework and music spectacular.
The Cuevas San Diego fiesta runs from Tuesday November 12 to 17.
