Gas bottle thief nabbed in Cuevas del Almanzora

GUARDIA Civil arrested an individual for stealing 22 gas bottles from service stations in Cuevas del Almanzora.
The Guardia said G.M.R., a.k.a. ‘Nes,’ is suspected of thieving 12 bottles from one service station and 10 more from a second, as well as taking tables and chairs from the terrace of another establishment in the town centre.
Investigations began after the service station managers reported someone had forced open the cages where the gas bottles are stored.
According to the Guardia the detainee is a known local delinquent with a very extensive criminal record.
