Bonfire Parties A Wash Out As Storms Ravish Southern UK This Evening

According to the Met Office, gusts of more than 80mph were measured in parts of Plymouth and Cornwall on Saturday morning. Whilst more is expected this evening.

Storms have also crashed into South Wales as well as Southern England with the coast lines across Somerset, Dorset seeing huge waves battering it’s harbours and shores.

Weather warnings for heavy downpours and strong winds are in force for throughout the evening. The stormy weather has seen many firework and bonfire nights cancelled.
