IN the latest plenary session held on Friday, Velez Malaga councillors showed their support for those affected in the Catalan riots.
In a statement read out at the start of the meeting, Velez-Malaga council wanted to declare its firm condemnation of the violent acts carried out by radical extremists in Barcelona, whilst also praising the work done by the public services during the protests.
The council also showed its support for any citizens that were affected in the riots.
During the meeting, the members also unanimously agreed on improvements to the Los Olivos School and an agreement to the decree law of urgent measures for the adequacy of irregular housing.
