Annual painters’ meeting in Albir

Just picture that 
LOCAL painters recently met in Albir for the annual painters’ meeting organised by ArtAvant and the Culture department. 
The 23 painters painting together on Albir beach were visited by Culture councillor who encouraged ArtAvant to keep up the good work and continue to promote fine arts locally. 
ArtAvant, which was founded in 2007, has 30 members who organise different social activities including talks and workshops, exhibiting their work locally and the surrounding area. 
From October to June the association also organises art classes for adults and children.  These are held in Alfaz’s Casa de Cultura where readers interested in attending will receive more information.
