Essex Police just announced 39 bodies have been discovered in a lorry at Waterglade Industrial Park in Thurrock adding a 25-year-old man from Northern Ireland has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The lorry containing the bodies was travelling in from Bulgaria.

Update 11.00 Police say it’s going to be a lengthy investigation.

Update 11.35 Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he is “appalled by this tragic incident in Essex” and that he is receiving regular updates from the Home Office after 39 bodies were discovered in a lorry container at Waterglade Industrial Park in Thurrock.
Update 11.50 The lorry first went from Bulgaria to N.Ireland and then into UK.
