Security Alert At Westminster Bridge Due To Tree Surgeon Dressed As Boris Johnson

London’s Westminster Bridge and parts of Whitehall were closed by the emergency services but are now reopened.

Westminster Bridge had been shutdown for access by London’s cops as reports of suspicious package has been found, whilst a protester was seen climbing the scaffolding on Big Ben dressed as Boris Johnson.

The man climbing in a green costume impersonating Boris was spotted climbing up the outside of the iconic clock tower which is very close to the bridge.

Cops are currently shouting  “oi you come down from there.” and the protester has backed off a little but still demonstrating from the scaffolding.

The climber is tree surgeon Ben Atkinson, 43 according to a protest leader.

It seems the protesters made a large bang as the demonstration which resulted in the bomb squad rushing to the scene whilst protesters made a  “fake call” reporting a suspect package.
