Councillor for Trade, Markets and Markets of Fuengirola, Javier Garcia Lara said that the ideas presented are diverse and are being analysed by municipal engineers and a representative of Malaga’s College of Architects.
Lara said: “The idea is to opt for a remodelling that benefits all those involved, both the current concessionaires, any new stakeholders and the people of Fuengirola who will be the ones to use these facilities.”
Most of the proposals received plan to rearrange the current space, integrate natural elements and combine architectural elements that already exist with new ones that give a more modern look to the building.
The town council also wants more natural light and bars or restaurants with outside terraces to be included.
