Richard Huckle was handed 22 life sentences in 2016 for raping up to 200 babies and children in Malaysia and cited as one of the worlds most prolific paedophiles.
Nicknamed as the “gap year paedophile”, he was found stabbed to death in his cell at Full Sutton prison in Yorkshire on Sunday.
Huckle had pleaded guilty to an unprecedented number of offences against children aged between six months and 12 years from 2006 to 2014 and was unlikely to ever be released. His cellmates didn’t take lightly to his crimes and put an end to the sicko’s life as they got to him in prison where he received fatal stab wounds that killed him.
Police say that an investigation is in place currently as the situation will still be regarded as a murder.
