BREAKING: Mother arrested in connection with death of seven-year old in El Ejido 

A MOTHER mother is under arrest in connection with the death of her seven-year old son in El Ejido. 

Guardia Civil detained the woman today Thursday in the Las Norias de Daza district of the municipality after officers found the body of the little boy in her car with apparent signs of violence, Spanish media are reporting. 

The Guardia had allegedly been tipped off that something was amiss by a call from a family member who lives in the same area who had seem the mother driving by. 

The 38-year old is separated from her husband, who had custody of the child, according to Spanish media.
