Aim for the moon
STARGAZERS – or to be more precise moon gazers- in Torrevieja joined in a NASA organised international event on Saturday.
Mastral Torrevieja Project, in collaboration with the city council and the association Astroingeo prepared two nights to celebrate the event, amongst hundreds held around the world to observe the moon.
If you missed the first one, the second will be held this Saturday at the Plaza del Embarcadero de La Mata from 8pm.
During the activity telescopes will be set up for people who want to take a closer look at the lunar landscape, mountains and craters.
Moneyboxes will be set up to collect donations that will go entirely to the Red Cross to help those affected by the recent flooding in the Vega Baja.
