Spains Director Of General Of Traffic Scooter Pavement Ban

Electric scooters will be banned from pavements In Spain.

 
 Rules have been drawn up by the Spanish government department responsible for road traffic with many pedestrians sighing with relief.
 
The new laws and regulations will ban electric scooters and bicycles from both riding and parking on pavements. 
 
 Pere Navarro, the government’s Director General of Traffic, stated ” car parking spaces should be reduced to make way for on-road parking for scooters, bicycles and motorcycles. 
 

“There are nine million people over 65 who walk a lot and want the sidewalks to be free of obstructions.”
