Mayor, Antonio Moreno Ferrer thanked the University of Malaga for its involvement and collaboration in the joint organization of many cultural and educational projects in the city as well as praising the work of the organisations that provide such a sterling service across the region.

“One of the objectives that we have from the City Council is to attract Velez-Malaga training projects that improve the employability of our residents and continue to establish Velez-Malaga as a City of Culture,” said the mayor.

The courses, that took place across the summer, reinforced the town as a hub of social affairs, culture, music and sport throughout Axarquia.
