Sir Rod Rocks Up And Saves The Day

Sir Rod Stewart made one couple’s dreams come true when he surprised them at their wedding and serenaded them with many of his famous songs.

Sharon Cook and Andrew Aitchison of Liverpool, England, thought their wedding at Caesars Palace Las Vegas would be ruined after British airline and travel agency Thomas Cook went bust and cancelled all flights.

 Delta Air Lines and Caesars Palace hearing of the issue stepped in and flew the couple and their 14 guests to Sin City last Sunday to throw them the wedding of their dreams this week.

Cook and Aitchison married on Wednesday at the Venus Garden Chapel at the iconic hotel. As the ceremony finished, Stewart, 74, popped out with three string musicians and shocked the couple with an acoustic performance of “Have I Told You Lately” followed by a few other numbers.

It was a lovely gesture by a true legend saving what was a miserable situation for the Liverpudlians.
