Teams celebrate success

YOUNG sports starlets have been congratulated for their competitive success.

The mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, applauded the female team of Costa del Volley of San Pedro Alcántara at a reception in the town hall to celebrate their success.

The female players won the Championship of Andalucia as well as being declared the best player of the Noelia Mena championship. In the same competition, the male team came third.

In the national Championship of Spain the women achieved 17^th place.
