IN THE coming weeks, everybody at Benidorm Palace will wish a fond but sad farewell to resident star performer David Climent. On October 15 David begins his next big project when he flies to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to join the Illusionists.
The Illusionists have recently become part of the world famous Cirque de Soliel, with the collaboration making their show one of the biggest box office draws.
In 2015 David, son of Benidorm Palace owners Vicente and Christine, was awarded the prestigious Merlin Award for best stage magician by the International Magicians Society. The award is considered the highest recognition in the world of magic with past recipients such as David Copperfield, Penn and Teller and Chris Angel.
After a five week tour of the Middle East the Illusionists return for a further five weeks in Barcelona and from there everybody would like to see David back at Benidorm Palace, even if just for a short time.
Joining the Illusionists is the pinnacle of any magician’s career and EWN wish David every success for the future.
