A TEENAGER accused of throwing a child from a balcony at a London gallery has been named.
Jonty Bravery, of West London, is charged with attempting to murder the six-year-old French boy thrown from the 10th floor of Tate Modern.
The victim suffered a “deep” bleed to the brain and a fractured spine. He remains in hospital unable to speak, eat or move.
Bravery, was 17 when he was charged in August and could not then be named until today, his 18th birthday.
During a hearing at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, Judge Nicholas Hilliard QC, Recorder of London, turned down an application for a court order that would have prevented him being named after he turned 18.
No further details from the hearing can be disclosed.
Bravery is due to appear at a plea hearing next month.
