BEST FISH: Weighed in at 4.75 kilos Photo credit: Teulada-Moraira Fishing Club
THE Teulada-Moraira Fishing Club’s latest outing was to Section B of the River Jucar. A bright and clear sky saw temperatures rise from 20 degrees in the early morning to just over 30 degrees by mid-afternoon. With water temperature at a steady 23 degrees, conditions were perfect apart from the heavy colour of the water, which was still carrying the residue left by recent rains. Overall, the day’s fishing was quite rewarding. There were catches for all members, with Malcolm Hunt leading the day with a creditable bag of 21 kilos, and the best fish weighing at 4.75 kilos. “We are a very friendly club and always happy to welcome new members,” the club organisers explained.
