Jennifer Lopez to join Shakira in Super Bowl performance in Florida
SINGER Jennifer López has announced she will entertain Super Bowl fans when she appears during the interval in the game next February.
Lopez posted on her Instagram account that she plans to “set the world on fire” when she performs alongside Colombian singer Shakira at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida.
Shakira confirmed her appearance a few minutes later and told fans how excited she is at sharing the stage in one of the biggest US gigs of the year.
The event will be extra special for the Colombian as the daye, February 2 is her birthday and the anniversary of her marriage to AFC Barcelona footballer, Gerard Piqué.
In February 2018, Jennifer López led the Super Bowl pre-match show in the The Armory concert hall in Minneapolis which raised money for those affected by the hurricanes that ravaged Puerto Rico in 2017.
The two singers are the latest in a long list of top artists to take to the Super Bowl stage in recent years including Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Maroon 5.
