NATIONAL Police in Barcelona have arrested a fugitive wanted for two attempted murders.
The detainee was wanted for shooting a person in Paris with a firearm. He then fled, firing his gun several times to make his escape. One of the bullets hit a 15-year-old boy, who nearly died in the incident.
The arrested man, who had a European Arrest Warrant on him, was tracked down to Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella district, where he was allegedly involved in stealing and receiving stolen mobile phones.
At the time of arrest, the Algerian citizen was using a false identity that identified him as a Belgian citizen.
