Alaska sea melts totally away due to climate change, Spain contribute funding whilst Donald Trump  “mocks”
 
 
 
President Donald Trump mocked Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter late Monday night after the 16-year-old  challenged World Leaders for not doing enough to tackle the climate crisis.
 
“She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!” Trump posted on Twitter.
 
Trump famously known for his attitude of “what climate change?” got embroiled in this exchange whilst its been reported the Alaska sea has melted for the first time ever and dried up!
 
The melt rate has been called unprecedented as the all time single day melt record was smashed in August.
 
The ice sheet lost an astonishing 12.5 billion tons of water.
 
Also earlier in the year Alaska’s sea ice melted completely away. Leaving no sea ice whatsoever within 150 miles of it’s shores.
 
 
Meanwhile Spanish acting Prime Minister whilst talking at the recent UN Climate summit in New York summit said ” Spain has committed Government support of more than €350m over five years, in support of a number of international funds to tackle climate change.”
