WATCH: British driver detained for knocking down two cyclists in Cuevas del Almanzora, Almeria

THE Guardia Civil detained a British woman for knocking down two cyclists while driving on a road in Cuevas del Almanzora in Almeria, Spanish press reported.
The shocked occupants of the vehicle travelling behind the car on the A-352 last Thursday evening recorded a video of her going into one of the cyclists.
The images show the impact of the car brought the 33-year old cyclist crashing down onto the side of the road.
It was the people travelling behind the driver who alerted the Local Police to the incident, who in turn reported it to the emergency services
According to Spanish media the driver failed to stop after hitting the 33-year old, but by the time the Guardia Civil caught up with her a few hours later she had gone into a second cyclist, this time a 67-year old woman.
Both the victims required medical attention at Huercal-Overa hospital.
