State insurance body the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros that commands control in the event of natural disasters has revealed their estimations for the storm damage costs in the province of Malaga alone at a whopping 4 million euro’s from the early weekend storms in the region.
It’s reported approximately 800 people suffered storm damage mainly in the regions of Alhaurín El Grande, Cártama , Coín, Alhaurín de la Torre, Torremolinios as well as Villanueva del Trabuco
Further more to the above the total costs estimated for the whole of Andalucia stands at incredible 10 million euro’s overall with 2,415 people reporting damage.
Cleaning up operations are in full force in the inland regions after early Saturday morning flash flooding that have caused in total 14 million euro’s of damage.
