A Newborn Baby has sadly been found dead in the bin in Alicante

A NEWBORN baby´s body has been found in a rubbish bin in Alicante.
A local man found the body around 8pm on Monday in General Elizaicín Street, in the Carolinas neighborhood near the Provincial Archaeological Museum.
The baby is believed to have been dead for several hours. The body was cold and still had the umbilical cord attached.
The National Police in Alicante have taken over the investigation and the area has been cordoned off while forensic teams work alongside officers of the homicide department.
At the time of going to press it was unknown what sex the baby was and at that stage there had been no arrests.
