AREAS of the Costa del Sol, Axarquia, Ronda, Antequera and Guadalhorce have been put on yellow alert for storms this weekend after the low pressure front continues to make its way across the south of Spain.
Axarquía, Malaga and Guadalhorce received a battering yesterday from high winds and heavy rain. There were also reports of minor flash flooding and substantial hail storms.
Further inland, areas of Malaga were hit by heavy downpours and grape size hail, causing minor damage to properties.
Today, the National weather organisation AEMET has issued a yellow warning to Malaga, Antequera and Ronda areas from between 3pm until late evening.
