Lisa Burgess wishes to repay the kindness she has received

“I have received more than enough so would l I would like to help someone else and pay it forward.” Lisa Burgess

TEN days ago EWN was contacted by business woman Lisa Burgess who opened up her heart and shared her heartbreaking battle with cancer.

It was her story and a plea for help. She had lost everything, her health, her business, her will to continue. Her partner Joffrey had recently lost his job as well. The future looked bleak, with just €70 to her name and further treatment and operations to endure. EWN published her story and within minutes funds started to flood into Lisa’s crowd funding page. Joffrey was quickly offered a job interview, and the future started to look bright once more.

Now Lisa wishes to repay the kindness she has received. How? This is where Edward Wall comes into the story. Edward too was diagnosed with cancer 13 years ago. He survived after enduring extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Once recovered he took early retirement and moved to Manilva where he has lived for the past 10 years. It was in Manilva where he developed his passion for drawing. Specifically portraits of famous pop and rock stars. Artists he then convinced to sign his work so that he could donate the pictures to various cancer charities to auction off.

Edward has generously donated some of his work to Lisa to aid her with her funding.

Kindness cures in its own magical way, and now Lisa wishes to pass that kindness on, she has personally told EWN “I have received more than enough so would like to see if you know of an upcoming charity auction? I would like to help someone else and pay it forward.”

Signed drawings include The Jacksons, Tony Hadley, Katie Melua and Jessie J.

Please contact EWN if you know of any upcoming charity auctions so that the autographed drawings can be donated accordingly. Send details to editorial@euroweeklynews.com
