The popular seaside resort of Benidorm will be adorned with rainbow flags from September 2-8 for the annual gay pride celebrations.
The week-long event is expected to attract 15,000 people to the city for the 7th Benidorm Pride. A fun-packed, glamorous and flamboyant schedule has been organised with events all over the city. On September 2 and 3 there will be pride-themed events at all of the thirty gay bars that make up the gay village. The official opening party will be held at the Mirador del Castillo on September 4 with go-go dancers, local acts, drag queens and DJs. There will also be a bar for the event and from midnight the bars in the gay village will host their own opening parties.

Something a bit different will be taking place at 6 pm on September 5, a high heel race. Watch men, women, and drag queens totter along in their high heels on Calle Alameda. This is followed by the White Party at the Mirador del Castillo.
The Black Party is the highlight of September 6 at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium with drag queens, dancers, international DJs and national musicians.
The pride parade will take place on September 7 with over 50 floats departing from Rincon de Loix and passing through Avenida Madrid, Playa Levante and ending at the Julio Iglesias open-air stadium.
Dig out your rainbow flag, cover yourself in glitter and head down to the friendliest and most inclusive party in Benidorm!
