The popular seaside resort of Benidorm will be adorned with rainbow flags from September 2-8 for the annual gay pride celebrations. The week-long event is expected to attract 15,000 people to the city for the 7th Benidorm Pride. A fun-packed, glamorous and flamboyant schedule has been organised with events all over the city. On September 2 and 3 there will be pride-themed events at all of the thirty gay bars that make up the gay village. The official opening party will be held at the Mirador del Castillo on September 4 with go-go dancers, local acts, drag queens and DJs. There will also be a bar for the event and from midnight the bars in the gay village will host their own opening parties.
